Online Photo Storage
To put a photo on a blog or wiki, it must first of all be stored online.
Flickr is the most commonly used online photo storage space, however many schools in the United States blocks Flickr and photos posted on it are not available to these schools.
Picasa Web Albums Picasa is a Google Application, an easy to use alternative to Flikr.

Skype
- Go to the insert plugin icon

- Click on "let people see your skype status"

- Go to the video on http://www.youtube.com/ that you want to embed
- On the right you will find the "Embed" code
- Click in the the "Embed" code box
- Copy the text

Return to the wiki, click on the widget icon, It says Insert Plugin
- Choose HTML
- Paste the embed code
Yahoo Video
- Go to the video on video.search.yahoo.com that you want to embed
- Look for the "Add to Site" field on the video page
- Copy the text from that box into the box below
- repeat steps 5-7 in YouTube
TeacherTube
- Go to the video on TeacherTube.com that you want to embed
- Look for the "Embeddable" field on the video page
- Copy the text from that box into the box below
- repeat steps 5-7 in YouTube
Blip.TV
- Go to the video on blip.tv that you want to embed
- Click the "Share" button at the bottom of the video
- Click the "embed" tab at the bottom of the dialog box
- Copy the text fro the shown box into the box below
- repeat steps 5-7 in YouTube Odeo
Vimeo
- Go to the recording on http://www.vimeo.com/ that you want to embed
- Click the "Embed" button on the ,ovie
- Copy the text from the box which pops up
- Click Embed widget button on wikispaces, go to other HTML and paste
School Tube

- On the right you will find the "Embed" code
- Click in the the "Embed" code box
- Copy the text
- repeat steps 5-7 in YouTube
Calendars
PB Works Calendar
- Go to plugin icon

- pick Calendar
Google Calendar
- Go to your Google Calendar
- Go to My Calendars and click on the arrow next to your calendar
- Click Calendar Settings
- Go down to the Embed This Calendar section
- Copy the text from that box into the box below
- Click Preview to preview the calendar or click Save
30 Boxes
- Go to any 30 Boxes calendar
- Under the "SHARE" menu, select "Add To Blog"
- Look for the text field under "EMBED CALENDAR (WIDE: 800px)"
- Copy the text from that box into the box below
- Click Preview to preview the calendar or click Save
Spreadsheets
Google Spreadsheet
- Go to any Google Spreadsheet
- Click "Publish" tab at the upper-right of the spreadsheet edit page
- Click "Publish now."
- Click "More publishing options.."
- In the new window select "HTML to embed in a webpage" in the "File formats" dropdown menu
- Click "Generate URL"
- Copy the text under "Here's the code:" into the box below
- Click Preview to preview the spreadsheet or click Save
